I grew up in small-town Goshen, Indiana, but have grown as a design professional in the Greater New York City area. As for the definition of a Hoosier, best to Google it.

I'm a creator and nurturer at heart. My summers are full of perennials and seasonal edibles, including tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, pears, figs and herbs.

I enjoy shaking up the odd cocktail or simple classic (straight up or on the rocks), shopping for a local craft beer and learning about the latest trends in mixology.

I churn homemade ice creams and create my own recipes for such flavors as Banana Rum Butterscotch, Strawberry Buttermilk, Pickled Peach Sorbet and Scotchy Scotch Scotch; Some of my favorite TV shows of all time include “The Simpsons,” “The Wire,” “30 Rock,” “Broad City,” “The Larry Sanders Show” and “Breaking Bad”; I love alt-rock, pop and R&B, of which genres include countless artists I revere; and I have a bedlington terrier named after Scottish architect, designer and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
